  • Behavioural and interaction data including mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, tap gestures, and time spent on page (collected via Contentsquare)

Information collected during sales calls, discovery sessions, and the course of providing services, including:

  • Discovery and strategy notes (your business objectives, challenges, definition of success, KPIs)
  • Business and marketing data relevant to delivering Google Ads campaigns and lead generation services
  • Communication records and correspondence
  • Billing information (business name, address, and contact details) used to generate invoices and process payments

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

3. Who We Share Your Information With

Besides our staff, we share your information with the following third-party service providers who help us operate our business:

  • Google LLC (Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking) — to measure website performance, understand visitor behaviour, and track advertising campaign effectiveness
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel) — to track advertising conversions and deliver targeted advertising
  • GoHighLevel (HighLevel Inc.) — our customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation platform, used to securely store and manage enquiries, leads, and client communications
  • MYOB (MYOB Limited) — our accounting and invoicing platform, used to generate and manage client invoices and billing records
  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing provider, used by MYOB to process online invoice payments. Stripe collects and processes payment card details directly and is PCI-DSS compliant. Lead Marketer does not store card details.
  • Our website hosting and email service providers — to operate and maintain our website and business communications
  • Anthropic, PBC (Claude) and AgencyOSX — AI productivity tools used internally to assist with tasks including copywriting, landing page design, campaign strategy, and client communications. In the course of these tasks, limited client information (such as business name, industry, and campaign details) may be included in prompts submitted to these services
  • Contentsquare (Content Square SAS) — a digital experience analytics platform used to analyse how visitors interact with our website, including behavioural data such as clicks, scrolls, and mouse movements. Contentsquare collects IP addresses, online unique identifiers, and behavioural data by default. Contentsquare does not collect sensitive personal data.
  • Professional advisors (accountants, legal advisors) — where necessary for compliance and business operations

We do not sell, rent, swap, or otherwise commercialise your personal information.

We may also disclose your information where required by law, regulatory authority, or court order.

 

4. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Some of our third-party service providers store and process data outside New Zealand, including in the United States and other countries. This includes Google, Meta, GoHighLevel, MYOB, Stripe, Contentsquare Anthropic, and AgencyOSX.

In accordance with Information Privacy Principle 12 of the Privacy Act 2020, we take reasonable steps to ensure that these overseas providers protect your personal information in a manner that provides comparable safeguards to those in the Privacy Act 2020. This includes relying on the providers' standard contractual protections and recognised data protection frameworks.

By providing your personal information to us, you acknowledge that it may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside New Zealand.

 

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal information only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law:

  • Active client records: Retained for the duration of our service relationship and for 7 years thereafter, in line with Inland Revenue record-keeping requirements
  • Lead and enquiry data (non-converted): Retained for up to 24 months of inactivity, after which it will be deleted or anonymised. Activity includes any communication between the individual and Lead Marketer, including responses to outbound contact.
  • Email marketing subscribers: Retained until you unsubscribe. Following unsubscription, your contact details are moved to a suppression list to ensure we honour your opt-out, as required by the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007
  • Website analytics data: Retained in accordance with the default settings of our analytics providers (typically 14–26 months)

 

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as the Meta Pixel and Google tags) to:

  • Recognise you on return visits and remember your preferences
  • Measure website traffic and user behaviour
  • Deliver and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
  • Enable remarketing across Google and Meta advertising platforms
  • Analyse visitor behaviour and interaction patterns through session-level behavioural data (via Contentsquare)

  • Vetted third-party providers with their own security certifications
